Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Kaampus.
Kaampus has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Kaampus shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.
For the remaining academic year following the initial date of signing up the Committee Member’s society to Kaampus, the Committee Member’s will not offer their Mailchimp APIkey/ Mailchimp ListID and (subject to specific completion of agreements between Kaampus and the Committee Member’s society) available for free or any consideration to any third party.
You agree as President of your university society, that you have the explicit permission of your members to send emails to members. Furthermore, your members acknowledge that this content may be sponsored by 3rd parties not affiliated with the University.
If you enter your private bank account information in to Kaampus, you agree to send this money to the bank account affiliated with the society that is associated with the sponsorship agreement that you accepted on your Kaampus account.
Member Termination
In line with GDPR, as society president, you agree to immediately remove any society member’s information from your mail chimp list if request by the member. Furthermore, if a society member leaves the society, you agree to immediately remove them from the society’s mail chimp list.
President Information: As part of the registration process for our monthly e-newsletter, we collect personal information from “you” (the Society President). We use that information for multiple reasons: to notify you about sponsorship opportunities for your society; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied.
Member Information: As society president, you provide us with the API key to your society mail chimp account. This allows us to draft emails from sponsoring companies which you have to log-in approve and send to your members. We will NEVER send an email to your members, you have to explicitly perform the sending yourself (“society president”). We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve the sponsored emails. For more information, please see Mailchimp’s privacy notice. You r members can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of the emails.
We will never access, distribute or sell your society members’ data.
We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 60 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
